Rule Details
How to Play
- Choose the flag that matches the displayed country name from 4 choices.
- You can answer by tapping or clicking a flag, using the keyboard arrow keys, or swiping within the choice area.
- You automatically earn and activate an item every 100 SCORE.
- The time limit starts at 30 seconds. The game ends when your remaining time reaches 0.
Time and Combos
- A correct answer adds 1 second to your remaining time.
- A mistake removes 2 seconds and resets your combo to 0.
- You earn a combo bonus for every 5 correct answers in a row. COMBO 5 gives +1 second, 10 gives +2 seconds, 15 gives +3 seconds, and 20 or higher gives +4 seconds. From COMBO 25 onward, you also earn +1 SCORE.
Hints
- After 2 seconds, a blurred version of the correct flag appears as a hint.
- The hint gradually becomes clearer and is fully visible 8 seconds after the question begins.
Score
The faster you answer correctly, the more points you earn. Mistakes do not directly reduce your score; only points from correct answers are added.

Countries in the Question Pool
- Until you reach 10 correct answers, questions come from a pool of 15 especially familiar countries.
- From 11 to 20 correct answers, 10 more familiar countries are added, bringing the pool to 25.
- From 21 to 30 correct answers, another 15 familiar countries are added, bringing the pool to 40.
- After 31 correct answers, 20 random countries from around the world are added for every 10 more correct answers. Eventually, the pool expands worldwide, including smaller countries.

Saved Results
- Your top 10 results are saved in this browser.
- Your top result is protected automatically, and you can protect up to 5 results with the lock icon.
- Delete Results removes every result except those that are protected.
About Online Rankings
- Joining the rankings is optional and OFF by default. No account or email address is required. Turn Join rankings ON to participate.
- Your My Page nickname and avatar, along with your score and rank, are public. If your nickname is blank, a Player-XXXXXX name is used.
- Do not use personally identifiable information or language that may make other users uncomfortable in your nickname.
- Results from games started with rankings ON are submitted when the game ends. Your past play history is not uploaded.
- Only your best score is kept for each period, and equal scores share a rank (for example, 1, 2, 2, 4).
- Daily rankings reset every day, weekly rankings on Mondays, and monthly rankings on the first of each month, all at noon Japan time (03:00 UTC). All Time records have no scheduled reset.
- To help keep rankings fair, the server checks answer histories and scores, prevents duplicate submissions for the same game, and limits excessive requests. IP addresses used for rate limiting are not stored in the ranking database.
- If a connection or validation issue prevents submission, your result is still saved in this browser. Failed submissions are not retried automatically.
- You can switch OFF at any time. Previously published records remain until you choose Delete online records, which removes your Flag Rush records from every ranking period. Deletion cannot be undone, but your local play history and best scores are kept.
- This browser stores the information needed to manage your online records. Clearing its saved data may leave you unable to manage previous records. If you also want to remove your public records, use Delete online records before clearing browser data.
